Anti-Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement

At Williams Window Fabrication Limited, we are committed to ensuring that our business operations are free from any form of slavery or human trafficking. Although we are not legally required to produce a slavery and human trafficking statement under the Modern Slavery Act 2015, we recognize the importance of preventing modern slavery and have chosen to voluntarily produce this annual statement.

Our Commitment:

  • We are dedicated to maintaining transparency in our business and supply chains to ensure that slavery and human trafficking are not taking place.
  • This statement is reviewed and approved annually by Fraser Sinclair, who is responsible for its publication.

Our Actions:

  1. Organisational Structure and Supply Chains:
    • We provide a clear overview of our business operations and supply chains to identify and mitigate risks of slavery and human trafficking.
  2. Policies:
    • We have implemented policies that reflect our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships.
  3. Due Diligence:
    • We conduct thorough due diligence processes to ensure that there is no slavery or human trafficking in our business or supply chains.
  4. Risk Assessment and Management:
    • We identify and assess potential risk areas in our business and supply chains and take steps to manage and mitigate these risks.
  5. Effectiveness:
    • We regularly review the effectiveness of the measures we have implemented to combat slavery and human trafficking.
  6. Training:
    • We provide training to all employees on issues related to slavery and human trafficking to ensure they are aware of the risks and our policies.

Additional Measures:

  • We integrate considerations of slavery and human trafficking into our corporate social responsibility approach.
  • We have a whistleblowing procedure in place for raising concerns about slavery or human trafficking.
  • We conduct regular audits to ensure all employees are paid at least the National Minimum Wage and have the right to work in the UK.
  • All commercial agreements include obligations for suppliers to comply with the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
  • Angela Robinson is appointed to oversee compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
